Asphalt shingle roofs are the preferred choice for millions of homes in the United States, covering around 75% of houses in North America. These shingles are known for their appealing aesthetics and resistance to the elements, offering various benefits.

Versatility: Asphalt shingles come in different styles, including three-tab, dimensional, and premium options, replicating the look of materials like slate and cedar shakes.

Eco-Friendly: Modern asphalt shingles are recyclable, contributing to sustainability initiatives and potentially improving road quality.

Energy Efficiency: Asphalt shingles, especially in lighter tones, reflect more solar heat, enhancing energy efficiency and leading to significant savings.

Elemental Protection: Some asphalt shingles are designed to withstand harsh weather conditions, offering impact and wind resistance.

Noise Reduction: Asphalt shingle roofs excel in reducing sound transfer, providing a quieter living environment.

Algae Resistance: Built-in algae resistance prevents unsightly stains, maintaining the visual appeal of your home.

Starter Strip Shingle

Every roof has to start somewhere, and that somewhere is at the appropriately named starter shingle (also called starter strip).

Starter shingles are the initial shingle products installed on the roof, just before the first course of the finish shingles, which will comprise the visible parts of the roof.

Properly installed starter shingles are also a key component to help guard again shingle blow-offs.

Blue Turss Roofing

This layer of your roof system is typically made of asphalt saturated felt or modern synthetic materials.

It covers your entire roof deck, acting as a secondary moisture barrier between the roof deck and the overlying shingles (or other roof covering) to help prevent wind-driven rain from infiltrating your home through the roof.

Leak Barrier

Leak barriers stand as an indispensable component in ensuring the resilience of your roof, offering crucial protection to susceptible areas such as eaves, valleys, rakes, and chimneys.

These barriers act as a frontline defense, effectively preventing water intrusion and mitigating potential damage in areas prone to vulnerability.

Installed strategically along these critical sections of your roof, leak barriers fortify your roof against the diverse challenges posed by weather elements, ensuring lasting structural integrity and peace of mind for your home.
